New Dawn Mag Publishes My Latest Articles on Islam

new-dawn-mag-islamA few months ago the highly interesting and eclectic New Dawn magazine asked me to write on aspects of Islam for one of its special issues.

Now released, the special issue includes several articles by me, including on Islam’s “end of days” myth, and on the US Islamic-Punk movement, Taqwacore, inspired by Michael Muhammad Knight’s novel The Taqwacores.

New Dawn magazine has been in print for over 25 years.

Quest Mag Publishes Chapter From The Crescent and The Compass

quest-mag-islam-mysticismQuest magazine, which focuses on spirituality and religion, has published a chapter from my book The Crescent and The Compass, though very slightly edited for it.

The chapter has been published in the Spring issue of Quest and is on Prince Charles, Islam and Traditionalism — the spiritual school or philosophy initiated by Rene Guenon.

Quest magazine is edited by author Richard Smoley.
